Piles (Hemorrhoids) are swelling that occur in the anal and the lower rectum it is a vascular structure. Hemorrhoids become Piles when it is swollen or inflamed. Hemorrhoids are like cushions made of tissue within the anal canal that contain blood vessels surrounded by supporting tissues which are made up of muscles and elastic fiber. Some of the known reasons that Hemorrhoids caused are due to inadequate intake of fiber, prolonged sitting on the toilets and straining to have a bowl movement. Symptoms of piles include feeling of soreness, irritation or pain while passing stool. There are two types of hemorrhoids internal hemorrhoids and external hemorrhoids. Internal type is painless as that area doesn’t have pain receptor but rectal bleeding occurs.  Whereas external type causes pain in the anus area along with inflammation and itching.
