Founded in the 1880s by Sri Kochukutty Vaidhyar of the Marozhukayil family in Vayala, Omshree Sidha Hospital has upheld the values of genuine Ayurvedic healing across generations. A respected healer, Sri Kochukutty treated conditions like fractures, arthritis, asthma, skin diseases, and viewed his service as a sacred duty, not a business. 

His son, Sri Audhan Vaidhyar (M.M. Joseph), continued this noble tradition, serving the local community with dedication. Today, the legacy is carried forward by his grandson, Sri M.J. Jose, who leads the hospital and conducts research on Ayurvedic treatments for diseases like asthma, cancer, diabetes, arthritis, and more. He holds multiple patents from the Government of India for his innovations in Ayurveda.
